YANUNI follows Juma Xipaia's journey into the political forefront of climate justice, one of the leading voices of the Xipaya Indigenous Territory and the Terra do Meio region in the Brazilian Amazon.

Her story is the origin of the YANUNI Fund, which was created to strengthen the resistance and autonomy of Indigenous Peoples in defending their territories, cultures, and the Amazon.

Through a five-year platform led by the Juma Institute, the Fund puts resources directly in the hands of Indigenous leaders across the Amazon's Terra do Meio region, and invites you to be part of that transformation.
